NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., NOVEMBER 3, 2026–Compa, the leading provider of AI-driven compensation intelligence, announces Tena Lyons as Vice President of Marketing and Brett Kaluza as Chief Revenue Officer, both newly created roles. These strategic hires strengthen Compa’s leadership bench and mark a shift to a scaled revenue engine, as enterprises look to move from annual surveys to live compensation intelligence.
Compa’s data network has grown rapidly, with companies like OpenAI and HubSpot joining, strengthening the power of compensation intelligence to help leaders make decisions they can stand behind. “Leaders need fresh market insights they can trust, built into the workflows where they make decisions. Our live data network and AI agents make that possible,” said Charlie Franklin, Co-founder and CEO of Compa. “Together, Tena and Brett will help us build a GTM engine that brings compensation intelligence to every leader who needs it.”
Brett Kaluza joins as Chief Revenue Officer, bringing more than 15 years of experience building and scaling commercial organizations. Most recently, he was CRO at PitchBook, where he led a 700-person team across sales, account management, and customer success. At Compa, he will expand enterprise adoption and build a revenue organization to drive long-term growth.
Tena Lyons joins as Vice President of Marketing, bringing nearly 20 years of B2B SaaS experience, including more than a decade in HCM technology and a track record of bringing AI products to market. She has held leadership roles at ADP, SumTotal Systems, AMS, Hirevue and Harri. At Compa, she will elevate the brand and scale the marketing organization to build awareness, grow a stronger community of compensation leaders, and generate pipeline.
“Compa is at an inflection point, with a growing data network and enterprise buyers ready to move beyond annual surveys. I’m excited to partner with Tena and the broader team to build the revenue engine that turns that momentum into lasting growth,” said Brett Kaluza.
This news comes just months after Compa welcomed John Laino as Chief of Staff. A 25-year technology industry veteran, Laino previously served as COO at BuildOps and held customer experience leadership roles at Uberall, ServiceTitan, ZipRecruiter, and Salesforce.
